Classes about roof  making:
                                             In the classes I am learning about roof.What are the types roof and  which type of roof used in different climate and how to make a roofs.

Introduction of roof making 

                                                A roof is much more than just the decorative top of a building. A roof provides protection from the elements and precipitation, helps drain water away from a structure, and provides insulation that helps keep the interior of a building warm or cool, depending on the season. 

Types of roofs :

1. Slope
2. Flat
3. Mixed

Slope roof  :

Slope is the incline of the roof expressed as a ratio of the vertical rise to the horizontal run, where the run is some portion of the span. This ratio is always expressed as inches per foot. A roof that rises 4 inches for every 1 foot or 12 inches of run is said to have a “4 in 12” slope.

In Slope roof there are  two different types

1. Gable roof
2. Pitch roof

Gable roof :

A gable roof is the classic, most commonly occurring roof shape in those parts of the world with cold or temperate climates. It consists of two roof sections sloping in opposite directions and placed such that the highest, horizontal edges meet to form the roof ridge.
